Has anyone used the Optima battery hold down bracket that Mike's Affordable Model A Parts offers? Is it compatible with the stock cables?

I have an Optima battery in my Cabriolet with the hold-down clamp we're talking about. My only comment is that the clamp is wimpy. It works, but you can't put much tension on the bolts.

ModelaModela: I have three of the hold-down brackets (2 "A" and one Flathead V8): they are well made, fit the Optima perfectly (although I modified the V8 so that the Optima mounts sideways in the base holder). I have had no problems or issues in the three/four years they have been installed.
