The Model A was used for many moving advertisements. Here is one for Playland in San Francisco (early theme park).

I wondered that too. Prohibition didn't end till later in '33 so it was not a new vehicle when photographed. Is the white stuff on the running board supposed to be foam from beer?

It looks like it might have been enhanced to make the truck and the beer mug stand out from the background.

Long before Photoshop, images intended for reproduction in books or magazines using the halftone screen printing process had to be manually adjusted by shading or outlining in order to provide sufficient contrast in the final printed image.
