Default Amazing things they turned Model A's into back in the day..

I wonder how many vendors took Model A's and made other things with them?

Somewhere around here I have a photo of a Model A sedan being used by a local farmer to run a peanut picker machine. He had it on jacks, with a belt on the wheel and powering a pulley on the peanut picker.

I think that's an actual Cletrac tractor--maybe a Cletrac Model W--with a Ford Model A engine in place of the original engine.

While it wasn't a Model A, I had a great uncle that used a Model T to power a saw to cut firewood! Wished I had a picture or video of that now.

I have a Cletrac 'General' (pictured below about 20 years ago) with an worn-out engine that I have honestly thought about swapping in a Model-A engine & transmission just to take to tractor shows. I have all the parts and ability, ...but lacking in time & motivation.

It ran a stationary baler. Don't know who built it.

Here is a picture (although a bad one) of my next project.
CC Worthington tractor that was "rodded" by Pete Van Iderstine. I remember it from when I was growing up and it was a pretty scary ride. Would easily lift the wheels in 3 gears

Wow, I think I'd cut my grass twice weekly if I had that --very cool.
