If it goes thru the frame rails you will need to remove both cross ahft arms - rather hard to do as drilling out the rivet is necessary. i did that to mine and they still didnt want to come off... got lucky and found another shaft so i cut the badly rusted one in 2 pieces to get it out...

i used the 2 piece bushing and loaded them up with dry graphite before assembly. seems like it should work.
