Default Guess I just bought another one

I just made an offer on a 30 roadster. It's just parts and pieces, but looks like a good start for a speedster or a station wagon.

Did anyone ever come up with blueprints for a woody station wagon? I know you can buy the complete body, but I have a table saw, a router or two, and a fair amount of woodworking experience.

My offer was $600, what he was offering it to me for, but I asked hime to deliver it here in town, since he has a trailer.

I'll have to keep it at work until I confess to the wife....

You must have a lot of free time. You should log your time and count the total hours to restore. I will bet it exceeds 2000!

Hard to see in the photo, but that looks more like a cabriolet to me than a roadster. It looks like a fixed post windshield with a hinge up there.

Find a roof like this and make a coupe.

If you need to work with a low budget or lowest hours spent, probably the cheapest build would be a period hot rod.

You would probably get $2K just for that rear section over here in OZ.

I certainly wouldn't destroy that body. Find a cowl for your project and sell thea body to someone who will appreciate it.

Great deal for $600. It would sell for more just as "yard art." Good score.

Just tell the wife it is a good investment. :-)

Actually, the three types of Model A's I most covet (after my slant windshield) are the Station Wagon, the Pickup, and the speedsters.

My first thought was to try a Station Wagon build.

I'm too tall for a PU.

Now I'm daydreaming of a speedster...looking more like an old dirt track car.

I think you did a great buy. Any of those vehicles you talk about will bring another Model A to life. In the future I would love to make a Station Wagon. No matter what you decide, enjoy the journey.
