I rebuilt my differential and put synthetic 75/140 in it and the transmission and have had no shifting problems.

I used Valvoline Synthetic 75/140 in Minerva's 2 tooth steering box, along with some clear looking grease pumped in by the previous owner. Gradually, after about a week's driving, it became easier & easier! She would ALMOST recover from a tight, quick, turn, UN-ASSISTED!
