I am in need of some photos of a few oil pump related parts for an article I am doing.
Here is the following: The Ford Service Bulletin for July-August 1931: page 576, indicated “several improvements” in Model A and AA engines which Ford wanted to still further lessen oil consumption. “A shield (A-6631) is now provided which fits around the oil pump and insures a more uniform distribution of oil to all cylinders”. “The oil pan tray (A-6688) has also been lowered 1/8”. This has been accomplished by correspondingly raising the height of the bead in the oil pan tray”. “Under no circumstances install an oil shield without installing the new oil pan or vice versa”. I am in need of a photo of the oil shield and a photo compairing the two different oil pan trays showing the difference in the height of the bead if possible. Thanks. Pluck |

I have a early pan with the screw holes for mounting and the narrow dip trays. Need a photo?
Also I have a block where the horizontal oil line in the valve chamber was drilled, not a pipe crimped in. do you have a photo of the copper-tinned oil pump? |
