Might save you propylene users a few bucks.

I'm thinking I can afford to keep using distilled water and cheapo ethylene glycol for quite a while..."lifetime" products generally aren't.

Well I ran my 29 Pk Up with a warmed up B engine, NO fan and a 32 V8 water pump and the rad was a Walker made for pressure. Also this truck was in St.Thomas,VI. with a lot of REAL heat. The engine NEVER ran hot, even in traffic. Iceman

the guy says he is not a salesman for Evans, but he sure sounds like it !!!! ya coulda fooled me !!

It is a cover-up. The 'other ppl on the side of the road' have some kind of mechanical issue that needs to be fixed, not covered up by a coolant that boils at a million degrees. They need a re-core, adjust timing, get that danged front license tag out of the way of the rad, get rid of the leaky head gasket that is allowing exhaust gas into the water jacket, etc, etc.

Why am I able to drive around Texas all summer without that stuff??

Just because its not boiling doesn't mean that its not overheating. Modern vehicles have pressurized cooling systems that are designed to run at higher temps. Unpressurized cooling systems loose coolant out the overflow tube as heat expands . No coolant will be forever in an unpressurized system. I will continue to use water as a coolant in my model A's. I would only use antifreeze in freezing weather in my model A, if I had to drive it.
