31 Widebed Pickup for sale. Late model cab with indented firewall. Cab has been restored. Original widebed 3 hinge bed. Comes with tons of parts. All new Rebuilt Brakes front and rear. Beautiful rebuilt transmission too. Please see pictures for everything that comes with the car. I am forced to sell do to job loss. I will be happy to answer any questions regarding the car and its parts.

Do you have the rear fenders? Does it have a clear title? What parts are missing? Is the cab painted or is it primer? I live in sunland calif. which is not to far from you. I might be intrested depending on the answers. Thanks Tracy V Black

Hey there Tracy, my brother lives in Sunland. This car came with no fenders or title. The engine was a rebuilt that someone sold me, but I only saw it run on a bench. Its paint on the cab(which I have more of). After some minor rust repair it was sprayed. I saved it from being turned into a chopped ratrod. Too many full cabs are being chopped these days.

It was a true barn find. It was pulled into a barn on a apple farm over 40+ years ago and sat there. Someone showed it to a builder and he decided to start the restoration, but soon decided he wanted to chop it, so I bought it off him. I am sure theres a list of stuff one would need. This was my first Model A build so I did not get far before life threw me a curve ball and now I have to sell it. I will accept all reasonable offers on her. Thanks for the reply. Jay

Just my 2 cents here, but I would say that this truck is well worth the $4500 that your asking. If you werent in CA I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I agree with Dan Baron, that seems like a very fair price to me. If it was closer to the East Coast I would be on it like stink on a monkey. Just my $0.02.

Thanks guys. I sure fell in love with it fast. Sad to see it go, but it wont be the last piece of american steel to be in my driveway. More pics coming.

While looking for my A, came across a steel top indented f/wall late 31 that somebody had just bought a new NARROW bed for it, go figure. Price he was asking plus getting a widebed just too much, had to pass on it.

Could anyone tell me the difference between the 31 pickup with a narrow bed vs a wide bed. Besides the obvious, I mean....Thanks.

Just the bed and the rear fenders. Also because it was a late edition to the lineup, you also get the 32 inspired indented firewall.

I am the buyer. I am retired and think this will be a good project for a retired guy. This is a very good forum and I will need a lot of help from you guys. It will be good to work on my own project, instead of other peoples, for a change. I have cleaned out a section of my two car garage, gotten the money, arranged for transportation from Wilmington to Hesperia, exchange to take place tomorrow as we decided on the phone with a "verbal handshake".
