I see Brattons finally has the new aluminum headlight reflectors. Has anyone had time to try a set?

Correction: the reflectors are $123.00 a pair. Sorry for the mis-information.
After I heard about the new aluminum headlight reflectors here on "The Barn" I was going to purchase a pair, but at $123.00 each, I think I'll wait and see if they really brighten the headlights $246.00 worth.

I read it as $122.25 per pair which I think is a reasonable price if the geometry is right. I just paid to have my originals replated in silver. I got tired of waiting on the new ones.

I'll just say that I hope that they are better than the aluminized reflectors that I bought from them about eight years ago. The problem wasn't the aluminum plating but the shape of the reflectors was off and can't be focused. Once bitten, twice shy. If Berts or Snyders sold them, I would trust that they would be good, otherwise, I'll just get by the best that I can with whatever I can find elsewhere.

The only good reflector is a silver one. Next is a sealed beam all glass, also silver reflectors. Ask any good plating shop. Iceman

I'm not sure these are the ones as they have been in the catalog for some time. But as for are they worth it, many have converted over to 12 volt with all the parts that that intails to convert to halogen bulbs for better night vision. I would think that once you add up all those parts you are at or over 246.00.

I have ordered the new reflectors for $91.00 a pair. They have been shipped at that price. The older chrome are now shown to be $59.40
