Well walking to work this AM i went a different route . Looking over the bridge into a ravine I saw em!!

yes, that cap on the cowl is the rare commercial cowl piece that was placed there. The chassis with that cowl was usually sent out for an indy body builder.

It is very interesting to see them where they are at! The dust that has accumulated on them is starting to take its toll .It is a very heavy almost dirt like dust that seems to hold water well causing it to get very scaley rust on the horizontal panels . The vertical surfaces are in great shape though . Very weird!
I will keep you guy updated in the situation!!

How long have you lived in this area. And why haven't you canvased every shed every back alley or ravine sooner? How many A's do you suppose are down there ?

lived here my whole life ! 27 years !!
the trucks / cowls/frames pictured and a back half of a 4 door body laying on its side and a garage door . I can only wonder whats inside!!

Flop... Check online, with your county. They probably have a county GIS system open to the public. You put in the address and can get the name and address of the property owner. Then send them a letter or knock on their door....

Better hope the scrappers don't get there first. Any piece of metal lying around here on private or public property gets flinched for scrap. I saw a truck load of old seat springs go by yesterday.

Awsome find. You can go to a web site called tax net USA. That's how I find the owners of property. There are tons of a's poping up it seems. I got a tip on a place the other day that has a bunch.
