Any methods to filling the shocks?
I want to top off the shocks on our car, is there a trick that someone has found to do this easily? Also How do I know if they are working? I need to test the front and rear.

Re: Any methods to filling the shocks?
I use a pump oilcan for filling---both on the car and off, for testing I have done it off the car and set them up on the bench, made my own bar out of a damaged shock arm, used about a 10-15 lb weight at the end the 2' long bar----the times/temp specs are in the service bulletins ---

Don't tell the wife, I rinsed out her liquid hand soap container she uses in the bathroom it has a pump and works well.

I wish people would just post the stuff that is put in the written books on these websites as well. It may be in the books, but society is moving away from books magazines and newspapers, just as records and 8 tracks went the way side. It will eventually be mostly electronic. Eventually the younger generation may want to know how to do something and the first place they are going to search is the web.

Don't look now but "Eventually" arrived a couple of years ago. Just ask a kid who already knows everything. I'm sure they will agree. |
