Racur96, Since the speedometer is so easily changed, I don't think I'd rely on it's date, unless you know for sure that it's never been changed.
I have a November 1928 AA and a January 29, 1929 AA and they both have the left hand service parking brake. I think that by mid 29 the switch over was probably completed. The cross shaft on the 28 is the older style and the 29 has the newer style cross shaft.
