Oil baffle for 3 speed

Does anyone have a pic of a NOS rear oil baffle for a 3 speed side shift part no 68-7080. I need to see what it should look like compared to the one I pulled out of my 41. Also does anyone know if the ones from Macs are correct or have one they want to sell?

First pics are Fibbers , second pic is from Mac VP's site and last is a NOS one on epay as we speak . The one on epay is listed as B-7080 but it sure looks like a 68-7080 to me , My B-7080 baffles don't have the curled outer lip ? Not up on this new 35-up stuff . Notice Fibbers seems to be bowed forward . That explains the gap = leak .

Thanks David ,if you look at the two left pics I think that is the problem,mine has been wallowed out at the center which allowed it to move forward.

First 2 pics are rear and front views of a "wallowed out" one . It's a 33 one but notice the center is enlarged . Notice it is still perfectly flat . The next 3 pics are rear and front views of yours . The next 2 pics are rear and front views of good ones . Notice yours still has it's center - unlike the first 2 pics . The fact you needed to cut it verifies this as a wallowed out one falls off after you remove the bearing . The real question is if yours is bent -bowed . It should be flat . Notice on the back of yours and the worn out 33 one there are light contact marks from rubbing on the outer race . This is normal . Yours was far enough forward to read the numbers on the race . Yet the center is still intact . MY curiosity is still high as I would like to be sure of what happened here . IS YOUR BAFFLE FLAT or is it bowed like it appears to be in the pics both installed and after removal ? When you get a new one let us know how they compare . I removed the synchronizer today and the brass spacer in the hub was completely destroyed. Could that allow any slack in the mainshaft opening that gap at the baffle? And if you look at the baffle from the side it looks like three "steps",its not really "bowed" out. The area I was referring to as wallowed out in the center would probably be better described as flared out. I'll try to get a side view pic up.

Fibber , Thanks for the follow up pics as I wanted to be sure of the cause of this issue . Pics are Fibbers baffle out & installed . The rearward flare of the center is what caused the forward movement of your baffle = leak . You can actually read the #'s on the face of the outer race !!!! Form your own opinions on the cause but it is clear to me . I would replace the driveshaft seal also as it probably had a bad time . The syncro being toast has no affect on the baffle-bearing . The u-joint bolt does that . Dunno bout the syncro but the baffle & driveshaft seal shouldn't be much over ten bucks- the labor is another story . Fred may have the syncro stuff also . Thanks for curing a serious bout of curiosity .

I think your right about the leak, I guess the synchronizer spacer is just a coincidence but at least I found it now. As far as labor goes I don't think it will be to bad as I don't pay myself very well.
