Well, there's the verdict. How can you tell a Whippet from a Model A? If you find a Whippet in a field after 50 years you'll need more than a fresh battery and gas, a topped-off radiator, an oil change, and a pint of MMO down the distributor shaft before you can drive it home Anyone on "WhippetBarn" care to comment? Is there such a site?

Much cooler here in CT today. Excellent "A" weather.

Yes much more pleasant in morgantown today as well, I got caught in a heck of a storm sunday in the "A" and a couple of times thought I was leaving the road because of the wind.

Still cleaning in WV

you guys with the bucks should nab what's left of early competitors, you'll find the collaboration of folks, clubs and parts scarce. I've seen some good deals on some nice cars (needs parts or great restoration project) I haven't got it in me to commit to a rarity as that. but the wippit is the "cute" version of the willys knight. check out the silent knight.

I dug up a body at my friends pasture that was up to the windows in places, it also was sandy ground. Not sure of what kind of treasure body it is but my friend was insistant that I needed it. I was surprized at how good of condition it was in. Just thought I`d throw that in. Monte

My Dad had a 28 Whippet. He said it was the worst car he ever owned. Drive it 30 miles and you had to overhaul it to get home. LOL

A cute version of the Willys Knight?? Maybe the Whippet would have sold better if it had the Knight engine.. I just sold a Willys Knight and as always whenever I sell anything, wish I hadn't..They were a great car with an even greater engine.. I've got a real thing for the Knight engine..
