Now that is brilliant! I have Stumpy's but the engine is unbalanced fore and aft on the stand.

Wow, there is a lot of work and engineering there. Can the crank be removed or installed with the setup?

The engine stand is made from 2 habor freight stand bought from craigslist. The stand is design from original stand back in the day. Big circle in front lets you put the cam in or out.

I don't see why you can't use you flip it over 180 degrees. May have to slip in the snout first, but sure looks like it.

Yea, I guess you could. Couldn't put the flywheel on it though.

Yes just like a regular stand. This design is based off the design of one made back in the day. GC

One I built. Was being used as a dolly in the picture. Plates bolt to exhaust ports and will spin 360*

52Henry, yours is the first I have seen that uses both sides for the exhaust mount.

I saw one similiar to mine in an old photograph in a V8 Times magazine.

The lower priced HF 4 wheel stand works well as an engine storage dolly with a little rework.
