Default 38' spare tire carrier

guys looking for the nut that secures the running board to the spare tire carrier, i think the threads are 3/4-16 NF? My local supplier has to sell 10 and i need 1. was wondering if their was a pitman arm nut that might work? Feedback!

Hi 55 Dude, I think you're correct and the pitman arm nut is the same as the 38/39 spare tire mount shaft for the pickup. First, I had to find the spare tire carrier, then I had to find the large greasy nut from a pitman arm, next had to clean the threads... but still couldn't start it on the spare tire shaft. Finally, I flipped it over and it started alright going backwards from the castleated end. I'm pretty sure it will work for you. I have it soaking in some Greased Lightning to loosen up some more of that heavy axle grease. Send me your name and address and I'll send the thing to you.
