found in 1958 in a barn - brought out in 2002

It appears you started with a very nice original car, judging by the closeups of the frame and floorpans. We should all get so lucky!

Were the sidemounts both factory?

Dave look close at the rear pan.... It shows that BRIGGS was as cheap as old Henry. They came to a short piece of sheet metal and added a piece in by rivets to make up the difference and then stamped it out...Orginial color was black .Orginial body tag still on firewall. No on the spare tire mount on the right. bolt in by dealer and a sloppy job at that.. I wanted to be different and have ONLY the left side mount. The 170b is twice as nice on the floor pans and all. I lucked out on that deal.
