Question Carpet Plictire ?

Hi guy's

Went to install the carpet on my 30 deluxe coupe...After looking at it for a few minutes,,,it look's like the rubber mat to protect the carpet is on the wrong side !!!

I'am thinking it should be over under the pedel's,,not on the gas tank side !!!...Anybody have a picture of the correct carpet they can post ??? I think I'am screwed ?.

Look's like L/B did it to me again,,,,This kit from way back was missing the seat botton's (18) I made the mistake of not checking the kit real close way back..Then when I needed the missing button's, L/B had changed the material. Plus they wanted $40 for the missing button's with the wrong material !!!. Ended up making my own button's from some scrap material in the kit..

The mat almost look's like running board matting ?

Thank's,, Greg out west...

Sounds like you have a carpet for a right-hand drive A.

I don't have any pics really focusing on the carpet so here are some partials. The first three pics are carpets I made and the last two are LB carpets.

A similar story to your's. I recently had a minor problem with the cardboard finish panel for the driver seat bottom on a Victoria. The cardboard piece fit the seat bottom perfectly except it had been cut upside down. The finished side of the cardboard panel was on the inside instead of the outside. I called L-B and the customer service lady had them make me a new panel and mailed out no charge. It did take a couple weeks to come but that was OK by me. Never had a problem with one of their kit parts before. Bottom line is I would call the 1-800 # and tell them what was going on.
