Don't know the history but when I got my 28 chrysler to restore there were 4 in it, and to my suprise they look like the spitfire plug with the duel electro, so I figure the duel electro isn;t new! I still have them and did use them for awhile till I got new one to put into my rebuilt engine. It looks to me that everything repeats its self.
