Can I use the model A lug nuts when I install 16" wheels? If not, will modern lug nuts do the job? Thanks in advance.

I use the stock A lugs on all my 16 inch wheels. Mostly because I love the way they look even if they are under a hub cap.

I was told that the acorn were not advisable as the internal depth of the nut and the stud length were too tight to insure a snug fit over 16 inch rims. With that said I run them for a year, before I replaced them with standard. This was more out of need for the acorns of my other A then concern the nuts were not tight.
