Default Re: Oil Filter Adapter

I put a Mac's adapter on my 312 recently and I'm very happy with it. It seems to be sturdier than another one I bought at a well known TBird store, which leaked.

Mac's also has an extra thick gasket for it. Unfortunately, it is extra and not included with the adapter.

The only criticism I have about the unit is the location of the "TOP". It should be located above the cutout and for some one who doesn't know that they can install it wrong.

Apparantly the "TOP" doesn't mean top. it means outside.

I wrote them about it and got a nice reply from them.

You can get better results with honey than with vinegar, to paraphrase an old adage.
