Question 59 Ford Radiator ?

Hi guys, it's me again. This question is about the 59 Radiator. Do the 57 & 58 radiator fit the 59,with automatic trans lines ? Mine is the 59 with cruisematic, are the Fordamatic lines in the same place ? And do the 57 & 58 radiator fit as the 59 ??? I know the top of the radiator has the indented top inside so the fan blade doesn't hit it. My engine is 332 V-8. Thanks again, Pat-New York.

Default Re: 59 Ford Radiator ?

According to my old Ford parts book, '57-'59s take the same radiator, difference appears to be between 6 or V8. With the V8s it says the core thickness for standard cooling is 1 1/4" (# B9AA-8005-S), and extra cooling is 1 7/8" (B9AA-8005-M). Footnote for both radiators say "Includes oil cooler unit - when used for S/T or O/D, do not remove oil cooler unit plugs." Hope that helps
