Default The Three Stooges, 1936 Ford 5W Coupe

Last night I was watching TV in the middle of the night, and I found this 1936 episode of the Three Stooges. The Fire Captain buys a brand new 1936 5W coupe, beautiful car until the Three Stooges gets done when it. The car plays a big part in the last half of the 17-minute episode. It's a fun watch except for what they do to that poor brand new 1936 Ford.

Now I remember why I don't like "The Three Stooges". "Laurel & Hardy" were much more entertaining. Of course, they had their moments with a '36 Ford Roadster (or '35 Cabriolet, depending on which part of the scene they're in). I can't find a specific clip, but it's in the 1938 film Blockheads. The end result is the same though; total destruction of a very nice automobile. Neither of them had an exclusive in destroying old Fords though; check out what W.C. Fields does with a '32 phaeton in If I had a Million.
