I thought I had created a separate thread for this but it was in the regular convention thread.
So I have a room reserved at 1800 at Big John's Pizza (June 1st) place in Pendleton, OR for a Ford Barn get together. Here are some details/questions: 1) Can I get a rough estimate who is coming/planning to come? This way i can let the restaurant know ahead of time. 2) There is going to be some free bees given away from Quick Change and I am trying to lay my hands on some other goodies to raffle off for free. So drop in, have some pizza and put a name to a face from other Ford Barners. Mike

The "New Engine" crew (John, Steve, and myself) will be there. I'm looking forward to picking up a carbon-fiber fan if available and having a few beers.

I'll try to make it also. I'm going to have my whole family in tow - two kids age 8 and 4 and my wife so I'll be beholden to their schedule as well but it would be fun to make it there. We'll be there all week.

I just picked up an aluminum windshield frame probably for a 28/29 closed car/pick up. It has the swing arm attachment and is in really good shape. That will be given away at the pizza party.

Mike,
I hope the room reserved at Big John's is big enough and they have plenty of pizza and beer. I am giving a seminar on the New Engine from 4 pm to 5 pm, and the pizza meetup will be at 6 pm. There are 154 people signed up for the seminar and many will likely be at the pizza party. |

Terry, not sure it is able to handle 160 people. That would make for a great party though. I will call them to give them a heads up on the numbers anyways.

So Far, I have the aluminum windshield frame for a 28/29, one headlight bucket and some headlight trim rings. This stuff has a one way ticket with me. I will see what other goodies I can score next week.

In addition to the aluminum 28/29 windshield frame I am going to bring down two headlight buckets with rings. They are free to who ever wants them.
