Excellent description of all the 'land mines', Thanks Dave.
Sadly like telling a great joke and missing the punch line, most important part has been left off. Page 24 from the Model A Owner's Manual, 'To Set Idle Adjustment Proceed as Follows'. I know real men don't need Owner's Manuals but real Model As don't stall when stopping either. Acknowledgements to Marshal Dault. |

in the reply from Renners Corner the secondary well is mentioned.
that well area is something that can be overlooked when cleaning the carb. once the well is out of there make sure those gallerys are cleaned out. i have seen them plugged full of yuck. and even rust yuck.

Thank you all for the input! Some very knowledgeable people have taken the time to help me out, and I truly appreciate it. I’m tied up with some work stuff, but when I have time, I’ll circle back to the carb and provide updates if I get it sorted. Thanks again!!
