Default Re: 52 Rear Axle Bearing

The FORD part number is: 8A1225 fits/suits '49-55 NOT convertible/station wagon,
Aftermarket bearing part numbers: BCA 88107-AR (with retaining ring),FAFNIR 207KTT-6,
ND 88107AR (with retaining ring) ,L&S BEARINGS 88107R (R denotes retaining ring),MRC 207FFS7,FEDERAL FS88107CR, FEDERAL FS88107FR, GREEN 88107 ,
It doesn't appear/seem that the bearing is fitted correctly aas there's far&way too much gap between the bearing &locking collar/ring also the bearing appears/looks like/seems to be the incorrect/wrong type it's supposed to have an protrusion sticking out of both ends if you turn the bearing on it's side, the protrusion of the inner race is to allow room for the inner rear wheel oil seal which fits/sits inside the axle housing ....., if i can figure out how to upload a photo of the bearing it'll give you a better idea.....
