Once you are signed in, you should not see any advertisements. If you do, it could be a cookie blocker or similar causing your browser to not cooperate with the site.

Cleaned Microsoft Edge and I'm still seeing ads. Maybe Ryan has added them to help pay for the site.

Very strange. I stay logged in all the time and use DuckDuckGo for my browser and have NEVER seen ads at any time.

I've reported it to Ryan. Seems to be more of a problem than not being logged in or Cookies.

This attitude is really disappointing. I have never displayed ads to logged in users. And I have always hosted you on my dime. I don't really understand where the entitlement comes from. I've got bills to pay, kids to put through college, etc... Ads are what make this thing sustainable at all.

In any case, the sidebar ads you see aren't supposed to be there for logged in users. I will get them turned off ASAP.

Thanks Ryan. Most of us knew you'd be on it soon enough.

Ryan, if you need contributions to help run the site, I am more than willing to contribute. Sorry for the previous post, I just don't like random ads.

An Ryan and all members:

Thank you from here too, from far across the ocean. This forum and its wonderful members have given me a great deal of help with problems I wouldn't have been able to solve on my own.

They've also shown and provided tips that encouraged me to acquire before unknown period-correct accessories.
Furthermore, some wonderful, lasting friendships have developed, going far beyond the usual level of assistance.
This forum is also fair and remarkably polite. That, too, is not something to be taken for granted, especially since it's free.

Allen wuensche ich eine gute und stets hindernisfreie Fahrt!
Werner

Gotta agree. THANK YOU for all you do to support the community. People need to realize that NOTHING IS FREE. Someone is footing the bill. "FREE" shipping is included in your purchase price. "FREE" forums are footed by the host who needs to make it a zero sum game by donations from users or ads. "FREE' .gov programs come out of YOUR TAX $.
