If you're coming back up to the north of the south Island, be sure to get in touch. I would be happy to show you around

I wish we had more time in NZ. Wonderful people everywhere we have been. Unfortunately we are not headed back North. We have been nice to meet you. Thanks for the offer Perhaps next time… Randy N Robertson |

New Zealand is a wonderful place, and the Kiwi early V8ers are very nice people. My wife and I attended the New Zealand V8 Club Nationals last month in Kaikoura, then spent a week driving counterclockwise around the South Island.
I second the recommendation to visit Invercargill, be sure to go to the hardware store, the motorcycle museum, and the truck museum. I will hesitantly post a couple pictures of our recent travels: the first is sunrise over Kaikoura, and the second is from the back seat of a 49 sedan on the way back from Hanmer Springs. I hope I am not distracting from your thread, I am enjoying the report from another visitor to New Zealand. |
