Just wanted to find more interesting Model A YouTuber and help support their channels. Let's try to get a list going. Or has this list been done?
I'll start out with... Paul Shinn, that we all watch. Old Car Chronicles, that I just started watching. |

Astrawerks youtube videos are top notch in my opinion!!!
While Adrian has recently sold his Ford Model A he has quite a few videos working on it, which I think any Model A enthusiast will enjoy immensely he is German, but he speaks very good English. https://m.youtube.com/@AstraWerke

https://www.youtube.com/@SwabbieSteve Mark Clayton has mostly moved to Facebook but he put a nice dyno video up last month (not Model A but they are pre-war): https://www.youtube.com/@claytoresto And I do enjoy the Redline Rebuild series, though it is also not Model A, except that one time. But I've learned relevant stuff from watching how they use tools. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...4_qeaz9lTJn_XE Last edited by alexiskai; 01-21-2026 at 01:06 PM. |

I always enjoyed Jack Bahm's (RIP) videos and George Bell's Transmission Rebuild series. Others I will visit once in a while.
Not Model A related, but I do watch SuperfastMatt who built a LSC with a 1.0 litre naturely aspired BMW M/C engine and broke the record @ over 270 mph. Learned a lot of stuff I will never use... Last edited by Y-Blockhead; 01-21-2026 at 02:23 PM. |

Honestly Vice Grip Garage / Derek have done a ton of Model A's and putting their videos on the family room TV when the kids are around will actually catch their attention. I think it's because it's most similar to our situation where we are taking an old unrestored one and try to get it running.
EDIT: Oh and shameless plug but if you ever want to know about bicycle stuff then check out my channel "psimet". We also do a podcast at Road Is Dead. Been wanting to do some Model A videos just for the heck of it but I am reluctant to start yet another youtube channel and don't think the bike people will want model a content. |

I like P.S. info/tech and DIY to videos. Driving for ice cream ones not so much.
PS - P.S. keep using those adjustable wrenches and pliers we've got an "expert" in our club it drives nuts. |

I have bumped into MANY of the experts who jump my case about using adjustable wrenches and how using them proves I don't know what I'm doing. All it does it motivate me to use/show them even more.

Way more than Channelock or Crensent Wrench. I use Knipex Plier Wrenches all the time I fact, I usually carry the 7" size in my pocket.

Knipex are pretty amazing. Many in my industry use them as their main also in their race set. I believe the big brands like the Tool Trucks sell versions of them now. IIRC Harbor Freight Icon has a shockingly decent version as well.
Just got done watching the new one from David Freiburger with Derek from Vice Grip Garage where they road trip his "new" A. https://youtu.be/Vj4N_bO6KRw?si=hloAP_tgP6RzGwdO They start it here: https://youtu.be/O3JWfHa9oNU?si=DoY_5nP47-8cORDH |
