Default Question for suspension/spring experts

The front spring on my '36 pickup, which is stock, has lost its arch on one side, and is drooping pretty severely. This is a used spring I got to replace the original spring, which had one leaf removed by the prior owner. Am I better off trying to get this spring re-arched (although I'm not sure exactly who does that),finding another good used spring, or getting a new one from Eaton spring?
Thanks for any advice.

Adam

If you want this to be the last time you change it……get a new one…..if you don’t mind the chance of having to do it again….try the other options you listed……..Mark

Not a Ford but I did have good luck with re-arching the front springs on an IH Loadstar that had seriously overloaded and sagging almost bent flat. The spring shop also added a leaf. 35 years later it is still sitting up and looking good.

Lawrie, that's good to know-Mike from Eaton Spring told me 4 weeks lead time. RalphG, I did find several local places that do re-arching, but I think I'll try to go "new" if possible-I'd really like this to be the last time I have to do this, at my age (78).
Still waiting to hear if South Side Obsolete has anything.
