I went for an early morning ride in the '34 and, while passing a grape vinyard I started hearing a noise from, (what I thought), was the rear of the car. I was sure it was a wheel bearing so I pulled over and stopped the car. Thankfully, the noise continued and I looked over at the vinyard and saw a small wind turbine spinning around and making a loud 'clack, clack, clack sound. Was I relieved!

I took the '51 for the first drive this year around the lot at my shop. No problem with the car, but I can't say so much for myself. When I came back from Florida this spring, I found that my arthritis had moved into my shoulders big time and made driving a car with power steering a problem, much less one without. After a few months of physical therapy, I've gotten most of the function of my right arm back, but not so much the left. Anyway, I found that as long as I keep the car moving, I can handle it quite easily. It looks like nice weather in the Northlands this week, so I may try a deserted county road or two.

Parallel parking is definitely out.

Changed the oil and filter, and adjusted the tie rods.

I just lowered the sales price to $32,500 on my 40 convertible. It is posted on the Early Ford V8 website classifieds. Anyone interested? All steel, it may become a street rod unless someone wants it.

I just finished another 1933-1939 style flathead V8 generator conversion. It was converted from the original 6 volt 3-brush configuration to 12 volt, 2-brush for use with a regulator. It will be going to Hershey, along with many other restored generators.

I washed the Pendine sand and salt water residue off my 32 sedan. I was racing on Sunday and did 91.57 mph!

Drilled out the bloody steering column anti-theft bolt. Needed to do that to get the bloody horn rod out to get the bloody light switch c-clip sorted. Which it turned out wasn’t needed. Oh well, experience is the mistake that you made yesterday.

Lived in Dublin for five years, the Irish have even more creative, albeit not PC terms that I suspect that the moderators wouldn’t care for.

Hi Al. I have footage but have not edited it into a video. My Team Mart pit crew member Trev has put a video up though.

Getting ready for Hershey!

I just finished up my dual axle caterpillar conversion for hauling heavy flathead V8 generator cores. Kind of overkill. But cool 🤣
