the description by ford38V8 above, does not pertain to Ted's floater kit, but rather, to a kit that was of totally different design. Ted's kit does not incorporate a star wheel, rather, more closely resembles Ford's 37-38 design.

Brian, I stand corrected. I know that Ted’s ’33-‘34 employs a wedge, and thought he also offered the star adjuster for the later models. The set I installed was similar to the Floato but of newer manufacture. I have no idea who made it, as it was unboxed when I found it at a swap meet.

Just FYI.
When I got my '35 a few years ago I was initially baffled by the brake adjustment. Eventually I determined that it had star wheel type floaters. I believe they are this type, apparently made by Ace. My car was restored about 25 years ago, so I assume they are from that period.
