There is nothing special about your solenoid. It is the same as all solenoids after their introduction in 1937…as long as it is for a 6v positive ground. Originally, it had a single post which was a ground from the starter button.

ahhh! that's good to know, i'd hate to think i needed a fourth. and yes, they all have three terminals, two big ones and a small one in the middle.
