If memory serves there’s a tab extending past that corner with a c’sunk wood screw securing it. The upper upholstery panel hides this fastener.

You are absolutely correct. I found 2 tabs (welded) at the front end of the frame and a plate that kind of clamps it into place at the rear. Mine is a Canadian car btw. Once removed, pulling downward freed the trim from the car.
Thanks for the input. Are these pieces as hard to find as people say? I don't have the driver's side trim. |
