I put some anti-squeak welting around the floorboards of my 1930 coupe. Now the boards are hard to fit. Does the bottom go in first or the angle board?

Service Bulletins p. 248 Fig 507 shows a cross section of the juncture of the two boards. From the pix it is apparent that the angle board (front) goes in first - and the horizontal board (rear) goes in second.
No felt or other cushion is shown between the boards, not to say that one couldn't be made to fit. Joe K
