That style headlight door casting may a one-year-only part, '55 Fairlane.
Not reproduced, used originals only. Or NOS if you're incredibly lucky.

The top inside of the casting is open to allow the chrome 'eyebrow' to fit in. The trim is held in place with 3 screws on the back side.

The red ones below were repainted and are on the car in my avatar photo. The black one is only copied photos from an old ebay ad.
