Default Reversed Drag Link

Is there any reason any old timers would have run the drag link reversed on a '28? Just discovered it was reversed and no telling how long it was run that way. Trying to see if there was any sort of reason why that would have been done on purpose.

Ford reversed the drag link in Oct 1928, see page 290 of the
Service Bulletins.

...and there you go. Just looked it up. Thank you. My car is a Sept '28 car that was sold in the beginning of October. I wouldn't have thought my Uncle would have flipped it around but you neve know.

Says it was done to provide more clearance between the link and the front brake shaft housing. Looks like I am going to reinstall it the way it was. Thank you.
