https://www.ledlight.com/led-headlam...-polarity.aspx You might want to check the out put of your battery, since a fully charged battery, should provide enough power tot he lights, when the generator is at idle. Do the lights flicker, when the car is not running and the lights are on? Last edited by Merc Cruzer; 03-21-2023 at 08:31 AM. |

I will definitely try this conversion this summer. My 54 Meteor is all 6v, and while people comment that the bulbs are very bright for 6volt, I like the idea of having the lights on and less current drain.
The video is excellent and shows a huge difference in brightness, thanks! |

Yes, the speed doesn't match the modern convertible top speeds, but considering I am working with a 70 year old system (for you, that would be a 82 year old system), the speeds are acceptable. Last edited by Merc Cruzer; 03-21-2023 at 10:28 AM. |

The LEDs only draw about 3.5 -4 amps. I run them in my '35 Fordor. Very pleased with them and the generator is very happy.

I got the LED lights from ledlight.com. The headlights are #62528, tail lights are #95634.

I did a post on the off topic part of the HAMB about the 7” round replacement bulbs.
