As I posted on the HAMB, get in touch with Charlie . . . he's done some "strange" pumps for folks (including me!).

I'd take it apart and see what the diaphragms look like . . . maybe ones from another brand/type of pump can be used. Did Charlie say that he had any experience looking in to the guts of one of these or not?

NOS doesn't mean squat with old pumps . . . you're making a great assumption that the diaphragms are in good shape. Before I'd put this on my car - I'd make damn sure it was gone through. Think about what can happen when a diaphragm ruptures . . . not good!

The diaphram in a Blackstone is just a sheet of rubber or some sort of rubber fabric. It pumps with pressure from the air side of the pump. I once had a instruction sheet and over the years have lost it. If anybody out there knows which push rod and length of the rod to use with which pump I would appreciate it. I have a couple of those pumps.

Hello, I have the same pump, and purchased a re-build kit for it. The kit was supplied with an ethanol resistant diaphragm. I don't have time to look for the supplier right now, I'm recovering from a medical issue and cleaning up after a severe weather storm. Give me a couple of weeks, and I'll try and find the supplier. Hang in there, the re-build kit is available.

Good News! If you find a supplier, buy a COUPLE kits as I can't imagine them being popular or available the next time you need one.

Question: It looks like a double-action pump with two diaphragms . . . one for fuel and the other for vacuum? Are those two hose connections for vacuum?
