Default Electric Wipers

I'd appreciate help to source wiper motors for 37 Ford. Thanks

Put a little ATF in your vacuum motor, through the hose. That will
moisten everything up good and your stock wiper motor will be all well again. Try it. You'll like it.

Have your original rebuilt and use "Rain-X" on the windshield.

It's your car, do with it what you want. I know nothing about this conversion, but if it's what you want to do . . go for it. But a question will be are you 6 volt or 12 volt?

I've decided to use electric wipers. Can anyone recommend a supplier? Thanks

Some of the 12V wiper motors are fused with 1 amp. Very easy to blow it. Newc

Is your car a standard or deluxe? Do you have the original motor(s)? Email me at [email protected]. I may be able to help you with vacuum motors.

Yes, just a few drops. I don't see why MMO wouldn't work just as well.

If you've converted to 12 Volt, Newport Engineering is the place to go. Parts fit and work. You won't regret the investment.

TJ is Correct.
Nobody will take their car out in bad weather. Save some money for overpriced fuel.
The fellow that rebuilds vacuum wipers here does a great job. Very reasonable

Our 36’ 3W Coupe has one wiper .
We are looking for a 12V motor for single wiper.
I called Newport, they only make a double 35/36’ 12V kit.
It’s held in place by the two shafts.
We would have to make a second hole, add the second wiper, or run with an Acorn nut without wiper on the shaft.
Stretch.

Edit :
O ya, btw it’s $499.99

Thanks, all. The 59AB in my 37 is now 284 cid with B&M blower. Also Columbia, needing vacuum. It's a Standard, so I'll be adding right hand wiper. Reluctant to use vacuum wipers as well. Hate it when they pause as you accelerate. Any comments? Thanks.

Hate it when they pause… Actually, so many differences between antique and modern cars, things like that should put a smile on your face. Learning how to enjoy driving an old car is half the fun of owning one. The vacuum wiper, for instance, is infinitely adjustable from dead slow to very fast, and while going up a long grade, when the wiper stops, a momentary lifting of your foot from the gas pedal clears your windshield immediately. Smile!

Lots of good thoughts & advice,. Thanks. I remember almost having a head-on in the fifties with my 46 Merc coupe, as I was passing in the rain, and the wipers stopped. Not a good time to take your foot off the gas, or have vacuum wipers. My 37 will be a driver, through good & bad weather. At 84, I ain't into nostagia wipers.

This is comment right here is pure gold, should never be forgotten or underestimated. I hear so many people chasing after one thing or another, the simplicity of it too.
