Default 33 terminal plates

I just picked up a 40B distributor from the Horipito wreckers in NZ.covered in oil and grease but looks real nice inside.
I mainly got it for the as new terminal plates, but they are stuck in the body,I really want to save them, so thought about cutting the housing in half to,get them out.
Any one any ideas, I want to save the plates and are willing to sacrifice the distributor body, but would to save that too.
