After cutting the ABS; I attached it with a couple screws to hold it in place and then used a homemade giz to locate the door holes as in the other pictures.
Once clip in place I used another "tool" to mark the panel about 3/16" in from the door edge and sanded panel to that line allow for material wrap. I don't have a picture of it; but it was a piece of sheet metal bent at a 90 with a small hole drilled in one leg. Slid one leg down the door with a scribe to mark the panel in the other.
I used Mopar door pulls in these early handle forward doors; may switch to the stock rope pulls when trimmed; but the work good now.
