Default Another newbie here

Just a quick shoutout and hello. Wife and I have been wanting a Model A for several years but with 4 motorcycles no room. . .
After her motorcycle wreck, and 2 month wheelchair experience, we sold the bikes and bought a 29 Forder.
Still learning about it and looking forward to years of ownership enjoyment.

Welcome to the 'Barn! If your new ride doesn't have seat belts installed yet, that should be Job #1. Good Luck, and Enjoy!

Thanks for the suggestion.
No seatbelts, yet. The manuals and 140 weight gear oil will be here today. I already drained the crankcase and put fresh oil in it.
I'm also going to put a magnet on the radiator fan blade to insure it was updated to the aluminum one.

Put your location in your profile, that’ll help in the future if you need parts or assistance.

There should be plenty of fellow Model A owners in and around Montgomery. Belonging to a Model A club and participating in the activities is a lot of fun.

There is a local chapter of the MAFCA that meets up not far from me. I will be reaching out to them in the near future and hopefully meeting everyone. They look like a fun group.

Welcome to the club. I bought my 30 A almost two years ago and have found this site to offer a wellspring of practical advice on my restoration/upgrade project. Mine will up and running strong by the time that the summer driving season arrives.

When I bought my A, the owner had some photos that were given to him when he bought the car. The photos show the car sitting in a field with a tree growing through it, as well as
other before photos. It was a mess. More than I would have attempted.
The photos are part of the car's history and will stay with the car so that others will appreciate the amount of work that went into it to bring it back.

If I ever get to post 10 I will post some of the photos for everyone to see.
