The top half is the more difficult piece to find.

My experience is that a 3 runs no different than any other Z.
So it’s a vanity/bragging/ego thingy
Imho

I am not up on Zeniths. What makes a 3 so special?

"Middle range" knowledge. To me a Zenith 3 is a "cost cutting" Zenith which as Vince Falter says "dropped once virtually guarantees breakage."

But each to their own (Said the farmer as he kissed his cow.)

More interesting are the rarer "oddballs" such as the Mochi, the Simson Variants (and there are a bunch) or even the "replacement" Zeniths - of which there are a bunch.

Someone has found a "prototype" Model A carburetor which was unique in appearing more like the Model T Kingston - but included the angled GAV and was very obviously applied to Model A production. One of those Carbs which Ford "set aside" in his relationship with the Holley and Zenith companies?

I haven't seen of this since about 2010.

Vince Falter at Fordgarage.com has several pix. We have discussed this and another similar at https://fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?p=119750

MUCH more interesting.

Am I wrong? I always thought that the 3 meant it was made by Ford, and not by Zenith or anyone else.

And Joe, in cow Hampshire is it common for the farmers to kiss a cow? I know these guys a bored, but

It was called "Cow Hampshire" in the early part of the 20th century since it was claimed there were "More cows than people."

A claim that was contested by Vermont - but the reverse claim was that Vermont was (then) still too heavily forested to have the number of cow that New Hampshire has.

And the reverse claim that Vermont Maple Syrup is superior to New Hampshire, Maine, New York, Canadian maple syrup (fill in the blank.)

One curious fact was that in Vermont, Maple syrup production is still a pretty "small farm" product. The total state gallonage of maple syrup divided by the total number of producers is an average producer output of only 91 gallons. Well, then...

As to "farm entertainment" - ANYTHING is possible. I don't expect that has changed...
