If you spliced the front signal wires into the running light wires it will not work. The running lights in front need a two filament bulb with the two wire socket if you want both to work.. In addition if the filament in the running light is brighter than the signal filament it will "wash out" the light from the signal light. There's really no need to have the running lights functional if your headlights work. Disconnect the running light wires and you are good to go.
