Default Re: What did you do today, that was Model A related ?

Started it in a -4 C temperature barn. Started right up but sputtered out after 5-7 seconds. Stayed on after the next attempt and purred like a kitten for about 15 minutes when I turned it off. I sit around in the evening wishing global warming would hurry up and get my area up to low double digits so that I can start installing the goodies that I bought before putting "Henry" to sleep for the winter....oil filter system, 6.1:1 head, magnetic oil plug, engine bay side pans, 'real deal seals' for the trans, tank fuel filter, etc. Winters in Germany are LONG! Not brutally cold..but too cold to work on metal in an unheated barn for a 68 year old man when the option is a cozy fireplace and a good book.
