Default 2 ton truck rims

Hello everyone I’m new to the forum and I’m currently doing a frame of restoration on a 1942 2 ton truck. I’m wondering if anyone knows if there are any rims available to purchase I currently have the split ring rims on the truck two of which were flat and after cutting one tire off and finding the rim very badly rusted I was hoping to find a couple of replacements any help is greatly appreciated thanks

Truckdog (Stu) is the man when it comes to truck rims.

Where in Massachusetts are you? I may have some rims for your truck at my parents' house in CT.

Thanks for the nice words, but I fear I’m not much help to the new member. I don’t have any available. If you, or anyone, has available wheels and needs help in identifying them I can try to help. Stu

Edit - I guess I should suggest that Blue look at the inner/concave flat surfaces of his center discs and post their Budd numbers, assuming they are Budd products. Post the numbers and I should be able to give their particulars to compare to any replacements that are found. Stu

I have several good 20" truck wheels that fit your needs in dry Colorado.

Split Rims ? or just locking rings ? Big difference. The locking ring types are ok. Lots of posts on this subject here. Newc
