That is the earlier version of the crash-box four speed (no synchros) without the removable clutch housing, frequently called a "hogs head" by the hot rod community. It may be designated a T-8 transmission instead of a T-9, I'm not sure what technicality makes one or the other, as far as I know they are functionally equivalent.
