Default Dropped axle with mechastock parts

Has anyone used a stock model A steering arm with a dropped axle? If you did,how did you bend the steering arm to accomplish this.

I had my stock axle dropped about 4 inches. I'm using stock spindle/steering arm, and mechanical brakes. The only thing I remember having to do was weld tabs for the brake actuators to bolt to. The steering arm wasn't a problem.

Well, I guess that must have been a while ago, but I now remember it had to be heated up and bent same as the axle.
